Sharese Terrell Willis, PhD, is the owner of Doc’s Editing Shop, which provides PhD-quality editing and coaching for DNP and PhD students in addition to providing editing services for businesses, research institutes, and government organizations. Bruce Smith is a board-certified editor who edits exclusively for the nursing profession. He edits nursing dissertations and DNP papers, research articles, course assignments, and other nursing-related documents that must be presented in any of a variety of styles: APA, AMA, ICMJE (URMSBJ), CSE, and ASA. Bruce also teaches nursing writing courses, including Scientific Writing for Nurses, and administers the Scientific Writing Assessment for Nurses (SWAN) instrument. Bruce holds an MA in English with a research focus on English for the nursing sciences.
